Salicylate Intolerance Symptoms
When it comes to salicylate intolerance symptoms, the list may look a little familiar since medical blogs tend to publish the same list across their platforms for nearly any ailment. I’ve documented and categorized symptoms from my personal experience with salicylate exposure over the last several years.
In the box on the right, I’ve divided symptoms into three groups: short-term, medium-term, and long-term exposure. These symptoms might show up in a different order, and sometimes they even pop up by themselves or alongside other symptoms.
I’ve also had some seriously strange symptoms occur when salicylate reactions and meds decided to mix and mingle. Like the time, thanks to a hefty dose of Azathioprine, my eyelids started to bleed.
